From Mexico City nights to the Canadian underground, Alex Risa fuels the rave with raw Latin bass and barrio-born beats. Co-founder of Cosmovision Records, he moved to Canada in 2008 and since 2010 has been a fixture at festivals like Eclipse, Space Gathering and Open Mind.
Based in Sherbrooke, he launched the Digital Station Collective for reggae & dub sound system culture, and co-created Onderground with DJ Kalabrese to champion underground house and techno. His sound blends Global Bass, Nu Cumbia, Voodoohop, Dub, Moombahton and more, all under his signature “cosmic rave” aesthetic.
At Kumbionik, he goes darker: ritual bass, barrio roots and cosmic groove transforming the floor into ceremony.
